Gap on upvc French doors where the door meets the frame?

One of our doors is letting in cold air, what can I do to realign it so it's not bloody freezing in the lounge?.

The house is 3 years old and I'm sure the door fitted when we bought it.

Plastic doors and windows are notoriously troublesome, so there will be (at least one) local business specialising in repairing and adjusting them.

Try to get a recommendation from a friend or neighbour. You don't need a big firm, it will be fixed by an experienced woman or man with a van, a handful of tools, and a shelf of spare parts. Don't use an 0800 or an 0845 number, it will be an agency selling leads to people with no local reputation.

It might cost in the region of £100.

If there are also draughts around the frame, these might be fixed by injecting plastic foam, but only allow a workperson who has impressed you by their skill and neatness to do that, or they may make an awful mess.

So Dh can't adjust the door himself so I hangs correctly?.

I can't see the gap clearly in your picture but one of my upvc french doors needed adjusting recently. It had dropped and there was a gap in the top corner.

Because it was still under guarantee, someone from the double glazing company came out and tightened up the hinge - took about 2 minutes.

As your house is only three years old won't the NHBC guarantee cover this work?

Possibly but I wanted it sorted out quickly & Dh might be able to fix it if it's just a matter of tightening a hinge.

We never even use them, I'd be happy to brick halfway & put a window in.

I'm sure it's easy when you know how. I don't. I have a feeling it's something bent in the multilock.
