IKEA kitchen fitters...yay or nay?

Hi
I had my idea kitchen fitted 2 years ago (and love it!) but we built the units ourselves and our builder fitted it (we needed it re wired and plastered too)
My mum is now having hers done and what's an ikea kitchen but wants idea to fit it - are they any good?
Do they do extras like plastering and re siting piping?
I'm trying to figure out if we need to book a plumber and plasterer!
She lives alone so it won't be too hard food wise for her for a week or so.

IME ikea fitters are very expensive. If you are able, schedule a local builder to organise or contractors yourself. Personally I use a local kitchen fitter or carpenter for my renovations, on my own house I was quoted £7k to fit by Ikea and paid a local firm £1800 to do the job. You are a captive audience to the Ikea fitting firms.

We used the IKEA fitters. They were fab and reasonably priced - cost is based on £x per unit. They are contractors - round our way they fit for John Lewis as well. They knew exactly how to deal with IKEA units and did an excellent job. Would definitely use then again, far less hassle than any other way IMO
