I also think lone male. Bruce lee poster and clothes in the 'gym' and the old boy racer car. Most likely the house he grew up in going by the 80's decor, and his bedroom still the same as in his teens. Grin

Looks quite big once everything ripped out, and assume lower priced due to work needed? Could be a bargain.

Oh, I love that, totally a bachelor pad!
I can just see him with his workouts and his birds (chickens? I bought my Eglu from a single man).

I wonder if he's selling it because he's getting married.

Oh my god. I thought i have a 'stuff' problem. I clearly do not as all of my stuff neatly fits away in cupboards/has a place. Eek that is scary. Extra scary is that that is what 425k buys you!

If I were looking to buy, I'd love houses like this, simply because they put a lot of other buyers off and you're more likely to get a discount.

So many people can't see beyond clutter/horrible swirly carpets or wallpaper, etc.

It looks like the kind of house you'd see in a swingers party in a Louis Theroux documentary.

It has a lot of potential. It is very big downstairs.

Kitchen becomes 2nd bathroom and utility room.

Play room + TV toom becomes very large kitchen diner.

Put in doors so that the sitting room and currnet dining room become one nice big but separate reception.

I think you would be able to heat the M25 tho which would annoy me.

Wow.
1/2 of the tv room, plus the play room, are the extension, right?
Potential.

Well its round the corner from me and I too am astonished at the 'tardis like' qualities. For the footprint and the road its keenly priced, for the amount of work you might want to do to change it then its a bit pricey!!

Arf, at the poster who suggested it would make a nice 'small' family home! A trip to the real world needed possibly?!

It's fine, there's a lot of stuff in there, which they'll be taking with them. The garden is a good size.
The bar is brilliant, my DCs would love it. I'd be living my inner Vera Duckworth with it. We'd have Diet Coke on the optics!

But Shock at the price that would go for less than £200 round these parts.

Very small and cluttered but definitely impressive

the estate agent should be ashamed of themselves for NOT moving a few personal items out of the way for the photo shoot. shame on them for highlighting bins and medications.

I think an old couple with their grown up son still living at home/having returned after a relationship breakup who is taking over the house
The parents have now had enough, and are selling up to downsize to something he can't live in, and giving him some money from the sale
So it is overpriced because they need to buy themselves something, and give him a chunk of money, and he is being grabby about the amount

That was a bit voyeuristic I feel a bit grubby now but I do love these threads, definitely a single man. Bruce Lee poster has to stay.

Daydream, the square footage, not including the wooden extension, which may or may not be structurally sound, is about the same as the £60,000 northern terrace I live in. It is situated very much in the real world, thank you.

Old couple, recently and sadly moved into a nursing home and having to sell up. Love the bar, love the big tv room and the monkeys. Good on them having such a personal house.
I'd love to know what's in the bucket in the bedroom though..
Loads of potential with some rearranging of the layout.

I also wondered whether the enclosure in the garden was for monkeys! I've seen similar at Twycross Zoo Confused.

I'm sure it'll make someone a lovely family home though. You have to see past the current owners' "stuff" when you view houses don't you?

Just noticed the bedroom has 2 TVs, a set of scales and a fan by the end of the bed

The sights that room must have seen...
