I have analysis paralysis and hoping wise MNers can help.
DD1 (10) has had 4 different blue samples on her very pale blue walls for 6 months...we weren't inspired. It's quite a small but very light, north facing room. We have now decided with all the cushions, throws, soft toys, books, and curtains in various shades, perhaps a neutral would be sophisticated.
I did a bit googling yesterday, went to homebase to buy Strong White and Cornforth White - but no Cornforth White there. I've painted Strong White and Ammonite in patches. Ammonite is a bit browner than any of us like, but we wonder if strong white is too colourless.
Luckily DS (12) does not care at all, so I will hopefully paint his room in whatever we choose for DD1.
I guess I need the wisdom of crowds here: Do I spend another £4.95 on a Cornforth White tester? Is it greyer than Ammonite, or just a darker Ammonite. Or just go with most neutral of neutrals? I look forward to voices of experience...
