I'm going round in circles here, please help... We're in the process of buying a new build (a local builder rather than an estate by a national builder if that makes any difference!) that has concrete floors downstairs with wet underfloor heating. I'm thinking porcelain tiles in the hall, study, cloakroom & kitchen / diner & engineered oak in the living room. Would that work? I think natural stone would be too expensive and hard work & karndean / amtico seems even more expensive than tiles and wood and may not be ideal with the underfloor heating. Am I missing any other options?
