Property treated for dry rot

We're looking to buy a victorian upper flat (has the roof) that was done up in 2010 - has an NHBC guarantee, and was treated for dry rot in 2016 with a 6 year guarantee. Would this worry you? The guarantee term for the repairs seems short and the repairs required scaffolding, timber replacement, and re-decoration of a bathroom so sound extensive. Grateful for any views!

I'd be worried the original conversion was done on the cheap if dry rot wasn't treated/dealt with at the time and had to be dealt with six years later. You wonder what else they didn't do properly. Smacks of vendors having had enough of the place.

also the home report (scotland) says repairs done in 2015, and the guarantee we've just received says works done in 2016 (just as it was put on the market). I'm a bit concerned about what chemicals were used as we have 2 small children.
