Me and DP are looking to move to Leeds for his work with our v young daughter. I found a lovely house in Bramley and heard it can be a little rough in some parts, but other parts can be perfectly nice!! The house looks over Bramley park near the A657. Does anyone know if this is a safe part of Bramley?

If you're thinking Pudsey, these are a few that are currently available, all in good locations and within budget! First one is between Pudsey and calverley but lovely location.

North Leeds into Leeds city centre is fine by train but awful by car.

If you want motorway access to M1/M62 then you do need South Leeds unless you like sitting in a car on a ring road trying to work your way down.

Try it, it is the reason we chose South Leeds over North Leeds because even on a weekend the journey back to the M1 was awful.

The car park at New Pudsey train station looks like it would get very full very quickly at commuting time.

What about LS26/WF3? There's a bus every 10 minutes between Leeds and Wakefield along the A61.

LS27 is mostly nice, affordable and well connected for the motorways south but the bus service is patchy in places. Train from Morley is extremely crowded at rush hour and I'm not sure I could be doing with it daily.

The Elland Road park and ride might be another option for commuting from south Leeds. I use it occasionally and it is quick, reliable and good value (£2.70 per day if you buy a season/multiuse ticket or £3 as a one off).

Or rent something in chapel allerton- bus to city centre is fine in rush hour (or walk) and it's totally fine to get out of Leeds to the m way. The loop road is your friend.
