That's it! Which would you choose and why?

Ours will be a painted kitchen with white marble effect countertops (quartz lagoon to be specific).

20mm seems too thin, 30mm all the way for me!

limesoda love your kitchen! I had those tiles in my last flat and I love how they look in a modern kitchen.

30 every time looks much more expensive and lucurious IMO

Hi there, I'm reluctant to start a new thread for fear of getting told off(!) but I would love to hear any experience people have of quartzite worktops (not quartz) . It's unbelievably expensive but absolutely beautiful. As beautiful as marble but as tough and resistant as granite. The truth is, I've fallen in love with Taj Mahal quartzite. And the question is, would Caesarstone quartz (eg dreamy marfil) or something equivalent be as 'natural' looking ? as beautiful? cheaper or just as expensive in the end? Any thoughts appreciated! Thank you!

Lizzie where did you get your door knobs from? Are they satin chrome? Your kitchen looks lovely.
