If your shed is blue or green, what paint did you colour it?

Trying to decide what colour to paint my new shed. Options are a light green or sea side blue. If anyone has any suggestions and a picture I'd be very grateful.

Ours is Cuprinol sea grass and country cream. Quite bluey but I love it!

Very envious of your lovely sheds! I suspect it's not going to be possible, but has anyone had any success with painting a shed that has previously been treated with a darkish brown? Mine is in good nick, a very workable shape but the darkness in a north-facing garden is not good!

Both of those sheds are very nice. Think I'll go for Seagrass, thanks all, I've been agonising over this. Front door colour to be decided next!

Also interested in paint over answers. I intended to paint ours blue or green but it came pre treated. :(

We've just painted a new shed with Cuprinol sea grass and it's lovely. Homebase had offer on recently so we've got a second tin waiting for bench and table. Grin

My shed is Barleywood. It's nothing like the colour chart!

Fourarms my shed was pre-treated (a fetching shade of orange) but I was able to paint over that. (Might have sanded it down a bit first, I can't remember now)

Thanks LD

if your wood is smooth then Garden Shades will happily cover whatever was there before - if a darker colour it might need 2 coats, but it covers really well Smile

Cuprinol willow with the shed and window edges/frames in cream. Did it last year and it really gave our 12 year old shed a new lease of life. Love it (although I still don't go inside because of the spiders!)

I've just painted my shed Cuprinol seagrass. There's been huge discussion as to whether it's blue or green, but either way, I love it! It's really brightened up out dreary old shed! Especially when you see the 'before' photo!

I just saw my old thead pop up! I went for Seagrass in the end and I'm really pleased. Thanks for all the recommendations.

Our shed is painted what I think is white internal gloss. Do you think any of these paints will work or do I need external gloss? Any of the fun colours come in small tins so could be very pricey
