marquee style light up letters in bedroom. naff or stylish

I really like the marquee metal style light up letters which are around at the mo. Toying with the idea of 4 together spelling love in my bedroom on one wall. Will iy look fucking hideous or a nice feature. Opinions please

My two boys share a room and father Christmas brought them a red metal light up O . they both have first names beginning with that letter.
