Help me with bathrooms, show me yours and thoughts...

I'm in the middle of a large extension/remodel and loosing my mind I've 4 bathrooms/shower rooms to buy.

I had thought I'd wanted something traditional but today I've been looking at modern bathrooms and now I think I want this.

Please show me what you have and any thoughts on what I should do :/
I'm worried I'll bore of traditional and modern will date :/ this is our forever house so we will be spending a lot, and dh will kill me if I want to,change it in a couple of years time.

The house is late 70s early 80s but quite cottage like, lots of eaves/small windows etc.

My bathroom is teeny tiny but here it is...

My two starting points were patterned vinyl (Harvey Maria) for the floor and the vanity unit that I had in my head. Handleless, simple, natural. Pinterest has a lot to answer for...

jaffa that's gorgeous! I'd thought about that sink for one of the bathrooms. Is that shower burlington? It looks like it could be lefroy brooks?

I think you should always go with whatever is in keeping with the style of the house. It's very, very difficult to pull off an interior which doesn't reflect the age and era of the exterior. I mean, you can do it of course, but when it comes to longevity and resale, a mismatched interior (in terms of style) could be a problem.

Having said that, as this is your forever home I would just do whatever you want. Remember to be conscious of how dating colour can be: grey could be the avocado suite of the 21st century. As could travertine. There's a reason why white bathroom suites never go out of fashion...

The window is beautiful but we currently have a very ugly waterproof roller blind so we can shower. I fear the future is painfully expensive shutters.

Confused...I got lucky at a local auction...they were all together in one lot. General junk/antique shops and car boots are good options though

Neptune also have a factory shop at their place in Swindon. Give them a call, they are very helpful. We got half our kitchen from there (and you would not have known they were seconds until the 'damage' was pointed out.

We had ours done just before Xmas so I can show it if & had a similar dilemma - house is old, so modern would be out of place, but I don't like the old traditional look in the era of the house. So I went for a bit of a mixture & we love it :)

Here is my teeny tiny bathroom.
I love having one long unit and work top. So easy to clean.

Has anyone wallpapered their bathroom?

I can't see wallpaper doing well in a bathroom.

I have one wall papered and it's ok so far, we don't have a shower in there though.

Watching with interest as we will be doing redoing 2 bathrooms later this year.

Some gorgeous bathrooms here We have yet to start on ours in the new (old) house, but here's some of those we fitted at our last place (which was a Georgian thatched village house). We went for a mix of traditional and slightly more contemporary - Hansgrohe Axor Montreux, some Crosswater, V&B etc etc - offset with our rather quirky antique bits

Not sure what our plans are here yet, but think it will involve panelling and maybe a copper or Japanese bath.......

This is our ensuite. I am crap at taking photos. The family bathroom is a seaside theme and the guest bathroom is similar to the ensuite.
