We are planning a new bathroom, we fancy a black and white scheme. We're probably moving house in the next three years so it's got to be something that will be popular as well as what we like.
Ideas welcome please.

I think any shade of grey and white is fashionable. About to have our ensuite done and gone for dark grey floor tiles, opalescent white glass tiles to line the shower area, dark grey walls, glossy white sink and storage units, and lots of low level lighting.

marble look tiles seem to be in vogue.

We're thinking of white glossy tiles with a black/gray mosaic border and gray marble floor tiles.

Juanpotatotwo that's sounds exactly what we would like. Would you mind sharing your purchases or any pics you may have?

I would never go for anything fashionable because fashions change all the time. If you are planning to sell I also wouldn't go for black. I'm always on rightmost even though we aren't moving as we did last year but the bathrooms I see with black immediately put me off because I know it will need redoing.

Coloured grout is good. We have white tiles (slightly bumpy for some texture) with light grey grout, it looks great. We also have a line of mosaic tiles to break up the white but this is personal choice, no idea about fashions but given how many mosaic tiles there are around, I'd say they are popular.

White suite, possibly built in furniture. We have this with our toilet, sink and another small unit. From RM again these seem to be popular.

Do you have room for a bath and shower cubicle? If it's a shower over bath I'd go for a P shaped bath as you have more room to stand that the end.

No, the shower is over the bath but we've got room for a wider bath so there is some extra space. It's a large room but the shape of the room and location of the boiler limits where things can go, it's an l-shaped room with wooden beams in part of it.
