Black showerhead/bathroom taps

For our new loft bathroom I'm going for white marble for the shower wall, white hexagonal tiles for the floor and possibly white subway tiles for the rest of the room and I'm thinking of black hardware thanks to lots of cool pinterest and instagram inspo. Everything I love seems to be in Oz for some reason! Has anyone managed to find any black showerhead and taps? The ones I have found so far have been tacky which is not the look I am going for...

Not that old shovetheholly!

Ipanema01 do you have a name or brand for the porcelain? That sounds amazing! Bit sad you didn't go for the black taps, but in your latest photo, the chrome/nickel looks very good too.

Hiahia this is where I found it www.londontileandmosaic.com/

After much searching I came across them on Houzz.com - someone on there said they had used them.
I've found them to be super helpful and I really couldn't see the difference at all in the look of the porcelain against the marble. Aside from the cost, I'd been wondering about whether to go for marble as I've heard so much about care and staining.

If only I could find someone to bl**dy cut the thing! If I can, I'm going to use the same product for my splashbacks and maybe my island too as the kitchen is the next drama thing on the list...

Just to say that I love hexagonal floor tiles... Your bathroom sounds ace, OP.

thanks Ipanema01... I've just done my bathrooms, but will keep these in mind next time I'm working on one!

Good luck in your cutter search, and new kitchen = great fun!

Hi Ipanema01,

following from this, I've had a bit of an epiphany and since I've not paid for my kitchen worktop yet, you made me think I might go for this, or a similar (maybe thicker) product: www.thesize.es/neolith/en/collections/modelo?modelo=01 ! It would be amazing if that works out - so thank you for sharing on Mumsnet :)

Just an idea: maybe you could speak to a kitchen worktop fabricator to do your cutting for you, as if they can do kitchen tops, I don't see why they couldn't do bathroom walls!

I hope you can share photos of your bathroom when it's finished, I would love to see.

hiahia I LOVE this, that's exactly what I'm thinking of too! I like the thicker surface for the island especially.
I'm going with IKEA for my kitchen and am yet to find someone for my surfaces...

well if you need inspiration, today I am particularly loving this 2010 Canadian kitchen that mixed marble and ikea cabinetry, as well as a million other beautiful ideas:
