Moving a washing machine into the kitchen

We need to move our washing machine into our kitchen. Is this complicated with regard to them sharing a waste pipe? Do we need a plumber? Thanks!

Where will it go in your kitchen and is there already a cold water feed pipe for it? If it's going next to the sink the wm waste can be fitted onto the kitc

Yes wow, it will be on one side of the sink, so I think that's what we need to do. But the dishwasher is already on the other side of the sink, so can you have 3x appliances all sharing the same waste pipe (and presumable cold feed pipe)?

We did. It caused problems when we had a blocked drain though as we couldn't use the washing machine, sink or dishwasher.

Oh, that's a good point FourArms. I think we just need to accept though (and we know a drain company who are very happy to come out at short notice for £lots-of ). I think we need a plumber...
