Help me choose bathroom tile colour!

What will go with mid grey bath panel/mirror cabinet and either dark grey slate floor or black and white marble? (Any thoughts on that?)

Am I stuck with white or grey? When I was just at the idle daydreaming stage, I was very drawn to pale aqua/bluey grey rectangular glass or sort of vintagey ones (not beveled metro). But now I visualise it with the grey wood I'm worried a colour would look messy/busy.

Turns out I'm rubbish at this! Help!

Should have said, we're only going to tile around the shower/bath and the sink, not fully tile all the walls.

Would you go a mauve with the grey?

Sounds similar to mine; F&B pavilion grey paint, marble worktop. We only have tiles in the shower (T&G elsewhere) and went for large, white bumpy tiles.
It looks nice but maybe a bit plain.

Sounds similar-ish to ours. Look at Topps Tiles Belleza - nice washed out colours, with option of decorative or plain tiles. There's an acqua colour I think. Or Attingham, which is a slightly non-uniform finish.
I was totally set on marble floor tiles but decided against in the end because natural stone stains more I think. I could imagine smashing an eyeshadow palette all over it and turning it brown! We've but in black slate in the downstairs loo which looks great but the natural ridges on it could be a bit sharp on bare feet.

Thanks all.

DH is anti mauve, though I agree it goes well with grey.

Actually have just ordered sample of Attingham. Will look at Belleza too, thanks. Yes good point about marble. Think will go slate but maybe honed slate (?) to avoid sharp bits...

I would look at Porcelanosa for the best in tiles. I love their very large format ones for a more streamlined look and less grout to go a horrid colour. They do just about every colour and finish you can think of and I definitely prefer their tiles to marble in black and white. If you get rid of the black and white you could have a lovely pale grey/white or a neutral colour which is more relaxing. This about what the raw edges will look like if you just have a bit of tiling around the sink. Can be unglazed and not attractive.

Sorry , think about......

Oh god I hadn't thought about raw edges - don't they edge it with something?
