Anyone have or had electric storage heating ?

Sorry for the mundane question I am viewing a house tomorrow with electric storage heating. In most ways the house is ideal but OH says this kind of heating is incredibly expensive and unreliable and will most certainly need central heating installing at some point. Anyone got any experience of it ? TIA

lived in a cottage with storage heaters years ago and they were great - cheap to run and kept the place warm inc.into the late evenings

Hideous. Never the right temperature. When I bought my house central heating was the first thing I did.

So OP how was the house?

Which heaters do you have? Do they heat into the evening too?
