flooring for uneven utility room floor

Our new house has a reasonable size utility room, but it is cold and damp, with no heating, and a very uneven concrete floor. Assuming we can get the damp sorted, I'd like to cover the floor with something warming. Was thinking cork tiles, but it's more uneven than I'd remembered. Would cork still work? Is there any thing else that might be better? Not really bothered about how beautiful it is - room is not directly connected to the main house.

Could you level the floor? Our kitchen floor was very uneven and we got a massive tub of something from B&Q that you pour onto the floor to level it. It sort of flows out then sets like concrete.

Self levelling compound is your friend here.

Wow that sounds exactly what we need! It even sounds quite fun to do... Thanks v. much both!

Glad EauPea came along with the name of it, now you don't have to use my crappy description in B&Q Grin

T'was a grand description Naked Grin

Yep, I'm sure 'massive tub of something from B&Q' would have achieved the same result!
