Beko tumbledryer on/off button stuck

Just that really! It's stuck pushed in ("on"). I've tried levering it out but it doesn't work, it must be the mechanism inside that's broken.

Does anyone know how I'd go about opening the front fascia? It's a week (!) out of warrantee (sob) and I don't want to pay £125 getting the flipping button fixed.

Replacement part I've found but no idea how to replace it - www.partmaster.co.uk/beko/dsc64w-7183281800/push-button-switch-onoff/product.pl?pid=2808880&path=660841,67146,191107:191125&model_ref=2496913

If it truly is a week out of guarantee, try approaching the makers and suggesting they should still cover it.

is it in the kitchen, where a spill off the worktop might have dripped onto the button?

Otherwise, ask around for a local independent appliance repairperson.

No it's kept in our garage. I will email them and ask!

However just to complicate things, the dryer on our receipt (currys) isn't what was delivered - they sent the next model up accidentally and we didn't realise for several weeks so never sent it back. Must've been a mixup by their pickers in the warehouse, the delivery men that unpacked it all didn't notice either tbf
