I'm not sure my title explained what I'm trying to say at all!!

I really want a single butler sink in our new kitchen. I thought one butler sink was the same as another but from looking around I can see this isn't true. Some of them seem to be shaped at the bottom so they chamfer in (I assume this is to enable them to be pulled out of the mould easily). I'm not keen on the look of this as you can see the edges of the unit that they are set into and I think it looks a bit crap.

From googling I can see there are other butler sinks that are perfectly straight at the sides and look really neat recessed into their housing.

If anyone knows what the hell I'm on about can they guide me towards a brand please.

Thank you Flowers

My first paragraph makes no sense now as I adjusted the title wording, apologies.

I have a Shaws sink in my utility. I think it is the shaker sink.

My advice is to get a normal sink.

We've had Villeroy & Boch farmhouse sinks in our last three kitchens - a double in the last one and singles previously and we've been very happy with them. Not sure if they suit your requirement for straight sides though.....

As we're soon to have a kitchen fitted in our new house we're also looking at sinks, but I kind of fancy something different this time....was thinking of getting a stainless steel one - but whatever we choose it will be a belfast/butler sink as personally I don't like the look of 'normal' kitchen sinks.
