Can anyone identify this parquet wood please?

I'm trying to find some to match it, but I don't know what it is! TIA

It looks like pine with a stain on it. They tend to come up in different colours so may be hard to match. I just had my pine parquet floor sanded back and restained.

There's no stain on it, it's just been sanded with clear osmo. It's from 1952 if that helps!

to me it looks like a random mix of red and brown hardwood. If you can get hardwood pieces of matching size, probably recovered salvage, use Colron before sealing and you can colour them any way you like. There are lots of colours and you can mix them in an eggcup. As the colours and woods vary, it will be easier to get the new ones in a mix that seems to blend in.

Oh no! I have looked at reclaimed parquet but it's mostly all the same wood. Gah.

Colron each bit a different colour or shade before fitting.

Looks like teak to me. But teak comes in lots of different shades so that may not help you find a match.

It's Pitch Pine. I have this in my lounge (150 years old). Not stained either and sanded it looked exactly like yours.

Pitch Pine is very hard wearing you'll be pleased to know.
