Stores to help with bathroom planning

We are going to do two new bathrooms - the en suite shower room and the downstairs cloakroom. I have gathered lots of great advice from threads on here and would like a fairly high end en suite (eg something like Hansgrohe shower/taps). Downstairs cloakroom can hopefully be simple but fairly good quality. Which shops would you go to get an idea of costs and suggestions? Thanks

When I'm shopping I always started with John Lewis, if in any doubt.
Fired Earth are also worth looking at for lovely quality products.

There are lots of independent bathroom shops that stock better quality products, don't know where you are but you might want to investigate local.

As my business is installing mid range - high end bathrooms IMHO finding a good installer is important.
I would happily recommend the which trusted trader site for good tradesmen trustedtraders.which.co.uk/
(we are on it, we are based in Kent but also work in London and feel free to disregard blatant self promotion because the rest of my advice is good).

A good experienced installer will be able to recommend products and the places that you could go look at them. You might want to consider bespoke stone or granite items, for example, that you can't find in any shop.

In addition there is a rough guide to bathroom budgets on my website: taraplumbing.co.uk/bathrooms/price

Thank you for your advice. I live in West Yorkshire and am visiting a bathroom showroom this weekend (James Hargreaves...) Your website is helpful Mrs Tara.
