Hi,

Desperately trying to save money here. Had huge costs this month and just wondered if it would be ok to use a Rymans inventory and save £140 in the process?

Anyone used one?

Never heard of a Rymans inventory - is this for a beginning or end of tennancy? I would check with your agent/landlord. Our letting agents made us use their nominated inventory company, for which we had to pay.

I had a full inventory done on a two bed property for £115 inc VAT. I think it is well worth it and one of the costs you need to factor in as a landlord.

make sure the checkout clerk pays attention at the end of the tenancy!

Thanks both, yes it's a £9.99 pack contains detailed inventory template...

Completely broke this year and where I am it's 150 for inventory and check in. Tried to do without the check in as I can do it myself, but they say that the inventory is a very basic list. Is it worth paying 85 for a very basic list when I can make the same using a template from ryman?

You may have problems if there is anything wrong at check out, I have heard that unless there is an independent inventory it is very difficult to claim.

Oh dear. Ok,thank you for your advice..

You don't need an independent inventory but you do need a decent one - I would think it is worth spending the money, but if you really can't afford it then to have one is better than to have none.
