Best 'white' shade emulsion? Vote now!

I have large areas of the house (kitchen, dining room, bedroom, hall) that need repainting. Usually I do pure brilliant white, but am up for trying something new.

Please recommend your favourite white and I'll go and get some testers!

Wimborne White (colour copied to Johnsons matt emulsion)

Dulux almond white. Lovely warm white not magnolia!

Dulux apple white. Nice fresh colour.

Usually use contract white from wickes but it can be a bit stark

I am going to be using pure brilliant white satinwood on the doors etc. And spraying the hideous brass door handles with oil rubbed bronze spray which I have used previously (until I can buy proper bronze handles- v expensive!).

Dulux (must be trade though) Jasmin white. Lovely restful warm white.

Posh wanker brand I know, but best white in the world IMO. Somehow so soft, and yet so very very white.

Wimborne White from Farrow & Ball.

We like one by Morris (William Morris) now owned by Sanderson- in Alabaster- white with a creamy ivory hint.

Shirting Little Green (we got a dulux trade colour matched version)

Utterly devoid of inspiring name, but johnstones/leyland S 0502-R50B is, for me, the holy grail of white paints: bright, chalk white; cool and fresh, but without a trace of blue; responds beautifully to the colours around it, and we've paired it with greys, greens, creams, yellows. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Just used Craig and Rose 'Broken White' in my hallway - gorgeous!

Pointing- Farrow and Ball. You can use for walls and skirting etc. It also looks good on walls with brilliant white gloss, which is just as well, as I couldn't be bothered to repaint acres of glossy skirting.

Lazy summer - if it is for walls and woodwork what is the finish like please? Saves all that cutting in which slows things down!

Dulux lilac white, apple white, blossom (I think) white etc. They have a slight hint of colour in the white which make it less stark.

I've started using shadow gloss on woodwork as it lasts longer than white gloss before it needs re-doing.

Valspar Coconut Juice, it's lovely.

It's an off white but somehow has a really classy feel to it. For white paint.
