& not murder or leave my F'ing DH

I took DD away for a long weekend - came home after a stressful visit & awful journey to horrors that had me screaming blue murder in a way I have never done with DH beforeBlush I still want to cry when I look at it today - it's horrendous :(

I dont know what has possessed him, he says he was trying to do something nice - but he didn't talk to me about it first, nor listen to conversations we had in the phone where I asked him to leave it & I would wax when I got home, please do not seal kitchen floor etc etc when he told me he had scrubbed the grout white

He ignored the lot :(

My lovely living room block parquet floor is ruined - he scrubbed & steam cleaned it, which it needed & Im grateful for - though he's only done the middle of the room & not moved dining table or other furniture

Anyway, avoiding this turning into a rant

I now have a large paint brush streaked & footprinted shiny patch of nasty varnish in the middle of my beautiful wood parquet floor, I could scream, as it was never varnished, but waxed, though he insists we used a mat varnish - we didn't - can't sand it as it's dark ended with age

How the hell can I put this right???

Also my natural slate kitchen floor - the white grout did need a good scrubbed, but I talked about re-grouting or even carefully painting the top to make it white again before sealing it - he didn't listen, but sealed it with a high gloss seal that we were given by the tiler but decided not to uses after testing it as it was too shiny & made it look like plastics - the grout is also still stained in places, some badly so

How the hell do I put this right

Any ideas please - before I LTB :(

I've no answer sorry, but huge sympathy. Rant away. You're entitled to it.

Perhaps contact the manufacturer of the sealant to find out how to remove it.
