Who do I ring to sort this out?

Long shot, but hope someone can point me in the right direction.

We have really low water pressure at the moment, particularly in upstairs bathroom, but not as powerful downstairs either. Linked or not, our main fuse is tripping overnight, just sockets, lights stay on, when we are in bed and asleep, so no surges of power...... We had a new combi boiler installed about 8 months ago, no problems with it as far as I know, but it is the only thing I can think of.

Any ideas who to ring to get this sorted out? Plumber, electrician, water board?

Been up since 4am ( woke up and saw no power to clock), so trying to decide next move!

Hopefully pigletjohn will be along soon!

If it were me I'd call whoever installed the boiler.

Thanks Katy. I have spoken to him today and ran some tests while he was on the phone. He does not think it has anything to do with the boiler, more likely a blockage or build up of crap in the pipework.
He is popping in tomorrow to have a look and talked about flushing?
I also rang the water board who are sending someone to check their end of things on Monday.
In the meantime, I have 7 guests staying for my sons wedding on Saturday, all of whom will be wanting showers on Saturday morning- so fingers crossed my man can do something tomorrowSmile

Are you in the countryside?
The water pressure goes down every summer here middle of nowhere something with the wells/streams/groundwater drying up.

Would not trip the electricity, unless you put the boiler on during the night and the water pressure is not enough to fill it completely badly installed?

We are in the country, yes, but nearest neighbours have no problems.
Installer reckoned nothing to do with the boiler, to be fair, I am blaming it as it is the only thing that comes on overnight. BUT it also comes on during the day and nothing trips.....

Will see what happens tomorrow when he comes, but in the meantime, thank you for your help- very much appreciated Smile
