help with bath size!

We have a small bathroom and we can squeeze a 75cm bath in (width), or should we go with a 70cm one to give us some wiggle room with the basin and toilet? It will be a shower bath.

How do people cope with big renos and decision making?! Someone please help Smile

DH will forever blame me if I stuff the bathroom up!

I'm in the middle of renovations and struggling with the decision making so you're not alone. Tbh I found the bathrooms the hardest part.

We're staying with my patents while the work is going on. I've just measured their bath (which has shower over). It's 70cm. I find it tight for showering. Given the choice I'd go 75cm unless you have a separate shower elsewhere.

How wide is the basin? Can you cut this down to one that is not so wide? This would give a bit more space for the bath. 75 is definitely better. Personally I like wider baths. Less like coffins! What are the dimensions of the bathroom?

The wall is 195 but has a boxed area that cant be moved making it 170. The basin has already been ordered, its 50 wide.

have you measured before or after the walls/floors were finished? that can make a precious few cm difference.
I probably would go with the narrower one, but look for one that is wider at the bottom. maybe an angular one rather than one with a rounded/tapered bottom.

Good point maus measuring before new tiles on walls have been done.
