If you like Blackheath you probably would like Dulwich (though maybe not) which does have an oustanding state secondary school.

What exactly is about Blackheath and Greenwich that you think would make them perfect? People can probably be more specific with suggestions that way.

Blackheath and Greenwich have IMO lots of small shops, villagey feel, nice families but not just families, historic buildings, parks, the river, not too many rough/dangerous areas (at least that I know of) and both are a short commute to my work.

Now I just need a good state secondary Grin

Agree with Fishewife - West London is lovely. I'm near Ealing too Smile

Thanks Annie. Am just looking at their website.

Surbiton has the faster trains as the people in Kingston thought trains were a passing fad in 1838. Kingston didn't really come round to trains until 1863. .

Dulwich has amazing parks and lovely historic buildings, the Picture Gallery and the Horniman Museum nearby. It does not have the river though.

The secondary in Dulwich that is outstanding is called The Charter School.
