Gutter cleaning

I need to get my gutters cleaned and possibly repaired and would be grateful if anyone could advise on the quotes I have been given:

1st quote is for 127. Includes cleaning by hand any minor replacements (clamps, seals etc).Guaranteed for 1 year

2nd quote is for 85. As above but no guarantee

3rd quote is for 45. Cleared from ground using vacuum system. Repairs extra.

Can anyone advise if prices seem about right. I'm in southeast London and it is an end of terrace Victorian house.

Is cleaning by hand better and more thorough than vacuum system?. Neighbours at back of us have lots of trees including a sycamore tree so gutters are full of leaves.

Thank you

We have just had a three bed semi plus detached garage cleaned by hand along with the fascia's (no repairs) £120. We are in Berkshire so probably comparable. Think I would prefer a hand clean, how do they know if there is any damage unless they take a look ?.

Thanks that's very helpful. So even the top price seems ok especially as we are in the part of the UK which tends to be the most expensive.

Agree that by hand is preferable. Surely must be more thorough this way?

Hmm.. Actually I also just had a gutter cleaning company here in London to take care of our guttering system ( it was clogged and overflowing when raining ), and they charged like £75 for a semi-detached 2 storey house and additionally £15 per downpipe. I looked at the prices of 5 other companies and they all were more expensive. The guys were really friendly so I would definitely use them again.
