Third viewing after survey

We accepted an offer on our house around 4-5 weeks ago. The survey has just come back which the EA tells us was fine, but the buyers have asked for a another (third) viewing. I would have thought it was a bit soon to be measuring up for curtains, etc. and I'm wondering if I should be worried about anything.

Has anyone any experience of this?

Watching as I'm in a similar situ, the estate keeps telling me it's just how first time buyers are, but it gets to me after having it all fall through once before!!

Most surveys show things need doing if only minor, might be they just want to check things out. The EA obviously isn't to concerned. If they've gone to the expense of a survey, they're obviously serious and probably at this stage just need another viewing to think about things they'd like to do or measure up for curtains/how their furniture will fit in. Although, it seems early to you, maybe they are looking for an early completion - we completed two weeks after the last person in the chain got their mortgage offer.

Whenever I have bought or sold property, it always amazes me how little time vendors do actually spend in a house before committingto the purchase tbh. When you think of howw enormous a commitment it is, we barely spend any time viewing and taking in the visual detail, talking to the owners etc. Three viewings shouldn't be a concern.

We viewed 3x, purely out of excitement, if anything it's a good sign that they're showing enthusiasm.

I understand as a seller it is stressful having the buyers round though, ours came 3x too and the last time they walked in, sat on the settee (without being invited to) and didn't stop talking for 45 minutes, this was before they even started to look round again. I kept saying that we had to pick Mom up at 2 and they were still stood talking in the hallway at 20 past despite us having put our coats on and had the car keys in our hands!!

oh god! I'd be mortified if I knew that's how our vendor was thinking!

We viewed our property twice before we put in an offer, and then it's taken a month to get a survey/valuation, and during that time we went to view the property for a third time in order to get someone to quote for a full bathroom refit which is desperately needed. We're certainly not doing it with the intention of trying to knock money off or to pick fault.

It's hard to get a full picture of what a house would be like with all your things in it from the first two viewings especially, I think a third viewing 4-5 weeks after the offer is totally fine and normal.

Thanks all. They are ftb so I'm hoping they are just excited.

Hiawatha - yes, it boggles my mind to think that the surveyer has spent more time in the house that we are buying than we have!
