Burst radiator, flooded garage and no hot water

I hope my landlord doesn't read this but I'm quite fed up.

We move out next week and it's been one thing after another. We are on day 4 of no hot water and it won't be fixed until Monday.

Am I entitled to do anything? Shouldn't this be considered an emergency? Surely one can pick up the part from any DIY store?

it can take some time to get plumbers, and if the landlord has responded and arranged a fix within a reasonable time (whatever that is) then there's not a lot to be done.

Is that the case? Have you chased the landlord?

glad you are leaving though - lots of things going wrong does happen, but not fixing them is not acceptable.

if it is actually the radiator, probably it has split at the seam underneath due to rust, you can turn off the valve at each end, tightly, and refill the system, and you will have hot water.

If it is a pipe, not quite so easy.
