Hello , I wonder if anybody has any bright ideas for how to fix this problem I have with my sink installation.
We had to install the kitchen ourselves due to severe lack of funds and whilst I managed most things ok I can't see how to fix this. I have posted photos, it's an Ikea Boholmen sink that isn't an inset so it is the whole width of a worktop, instead of sitting in a hole that you cut, it's sort of an all in one unit.
The problem is that the silicone I put in the surface gap between it and the cut end of the worktop keeps coming off with several wipedowns every day and is letting in water, that is swelling the worktop. I have re-applied the silicone 3 times in 6 months so it's not very effective!
is there some other more effective way I could seal this?
Sorry for such a boring problem but I'd really appreciate any pointers as I have drawn a complete blank from web searches and B&Q!!!
thanks
