Anyone used Premier Property Lawyers Ltd for house sale/ purchase?

We are looking to move - selling our house and buying another (fairly standard, but I have had wine and this seemed necessary to specify!) - and need a solicitor to handle our end of things.

Our mortgage broker has put in touch with Premier Property Lawyers Ltd - costs seem standard so we were planning to go with them. Last house purchase we also used the broker's recommended lawyers and found them ok. They have since gone bust though Blush so a diff company recommended now.

Emailed our EA to let him know and he said he had had issues with them in the past - no named case worker and ages for responses...

Has anyone used them before and can share views?? I don't necessarily mind not using a local firm but I would need to know who was dealing with us day to day and who I needed to nag on a daily basis

Thanks in advance Thanks

We've just used them and they were absolutely terrible. I don't want to go into too much detail as we're currently pursuing a complaint but their incompetence nearly cost us our purchase. I wouldn't recommend them in a million years.

I have to deal with them from time to time at work, it's a big NO WAY from me!

we used them a couple of years ago and they were fine. straight forward no issues no chain purchase.
the solicitor called back within a few hours in those cases the call centre couldn't help us.
I liked that all documents were scanned and we could view them on screen and they were fast. other side had a paper-pen-pist solicitor and THAT dlowed things down.

Have used them twice and have to say I have no complaints at all. Maybe, it depends on the conveyancer you get? Mine was brilliant and kept me appraised all the way through, but it could be that not all of the solicitor's are as communicative as mine. I did have a few unexpected problems with my sale and they sorted it all out for me. Having said that, it might be better to choose a local solicitor because you can easily visit the office with paperwork etc.

Thanks all. Hummm a mixed bag then. We are still waiting for quotes from local solicitors so not sure whether to go with them or not...

We are currently using them. So far so good, but yet to exchange so perhaps we don't know the bad news yet! But we did have one conveyance earlier who was not good. She went off on leave after which we got a different one who has been good. So it's a bit of a gamble, but everything is online & very convenient to deal with.
