Grey green kitchens

Hi all

I would be interested in peoples opinions on grey olive painted kitchens. Have fallen in love with the wickes in frame painted kitchen and really like it in the bone colour however I can't get a light coloured granite that seems to match/look good with it. Therefore as I really want a light granite or quartz I thought the grey ish cabinets option would work with the starlight quartz. However, I haven't decided whether this colour is faddy and in 5 years when I sell the property will it be a big no no. Any thoughts welcomed!

I would be so grateful I anyone who has done similar colours could send me a link or a picture...

Thanks!

Not quite what you're asking, but this is my cream kitchen with St Cecilia granite (the palest my builder offered); I chose green glass tiles for the backsplash - so I have an olive green with a pale granite. I love the colors together, but matching the green to other things has been tricky.

Thanks for sharing. The cream looks really nice with the granite, could be an option!

Apologies for hijack but are those handleless painted units wentshopping?

Went shopping - I can't see link on phone but it sounds great.
Any idea how I can see it?

What about a slate worktop? Then you could get a lighter shade of grey. We have slate and I love it. From Kirkstones.

We have just had that kitchen installed- I love the colours but I did a agonise about going for the heritage grey over the bone colour. I love it though. We got wooden worktops and have just painted the kitchen farrow and ball lime white.

We've had lots of compliments on it!

pinkje - yes, no handles… not my ideal solution, but I live in Texas and this is how they do kitchens here - no handles, but soft closing cupboard doors. I would love to fit handles, but I'm worried if I get one slightly wonky it'll look rubbish.
Here everyone (except me, obviously) has dark units and dark granite. I was so fed up of not being able to see tea splashes on a dark worktop that I only looked at light ones. The units are painted cream with a wash over them which gives a reddish-brown outline - does that make sense?
Another thing my builder does is hide the electric sockets up under the wall mounted units which is why the tiles don't have any sockets showing.
juggling sorry I don't know. If I put the picture on my profile, would that help?
Hijack over!
