Taking down a vertical slatted blind - with no visible fixings?

Previous owners of my home had a huge slatted canvas blind across sliding kitchen doors to the garden. The blind has broken and I want to take it down but I can't for the life of me see how to take it down.

There are no obvious screws to unscrew and no places with caps over screws. I presume there's something easy that I'm missing here but I really can't see anywhere to unfix the blind! It's fixed to a 'bar' from the top of the recess for the doors but there's no sign at all of any 'fixings'.

Does anyone know where the obvious fitting/fixing would be on a blind like this, that allows me to unscrew it and take it down?

Our slated vertical blinds have plastic rail that the slats slide along. That rail is clipped on to little metal fixings that are screwed to the wall and they are concealed by the plastic rail.

Like that? DH wiggled that plastic rail off the clips. Can't quite explain in words.

I think I know what you mean and I've wondered if my blind is similar. However, the blind exactly fits the width of the entire recess, so there's sort of no way to slide out the blind from the rail.

Do you know if your husband wiggled the blind out downwards, rather than sideways on? Again, although that would appear to be the only way I could remove the blind from the rail fixing, the tiny tiny semi-circles that might 'house' the length of the blind, are made of metal and I can't see how the firmly fitted blind rail could be wiggled out as the fixing is v tight.

Any other ideas anyone, please?

How about looking at installation instructions for such blinds online?

It could have been fitted with very small "ceiling fix" brackets.

If you run your hand along the top of the rail, you might be able to feel little metal bumps, which would be the brackets. If they're there, the rail will just unclip.

Good luck!

Ours is the whole length of the recess too so I don't mean slide it off more rock it to unclip it.
