Can I break contract and what's wrong with my house?

Grrr! I'm tied into a 16 week contract with Chancellors. House went on the market at the end of Feb so I've got about 4 weeks left.
Chancellors have been pretty rubbish and not pro-active at all. Have had few viewings in spite of the market being very active. According to them, they do not know why the house isn't selling. Any suggestions (dropping the price, re-doing the photos) have come from me, not them. They occasionally claim someone is interested in a second viewing or might make an offer, but then claim that the potential buyers haven't got back to them and aren't returning their calls.
Sooo... is breaking contract a bit early a complete no-no? And can anyone look at my house and tell me why nobody wants it here

Thanks.

One easy way of solving the orange/orange in the living room would be cheap cream cotton throws over the sofas, properly draped. Don't get rid of the floor, it's probably a massive selling point to some buyers (and if it isn't, the buyers without taste who hate it can carpet over it).

Having said I don't like the floor in the lounge I do think that its because the whole room is too many shades of orange ,perhaps a big rug would help or the sofa throws as recommended by others.

I have a rug in the hall which would go well in the living room. It wouldn't cover up the parquet entirely but would break up the relentless irange a bitGrin and make it look a bit cozier.

I love the finger parquet floor too. I'd whack down a cream rug, tbh. I'm not sure it needs more colour, just something neutral to break things up. I think the placement of the furniture around the edges of the room makes the expanse of floor look very empty. A rug and maybe a coffee table would solve that.

Ds2 has those dinosaur bed sheets. Grin

Also, the thing that most catches my eye in both bedroom pictures are the radiators. I'm not sure anyone wants that to be the focal point of a room. It might be better to go for a slightly different angle.

And do you know what - I bloody hate the colour orange Grin. It all looks more terracotta in real life, but in those photos it is seriously orange-looking . Making a mental note to avoid those colours in future...

I think the house itself looks very sound. I know it's subjective but the whole internal colour scheme especially the floors, puts me off from a viewing.

I'd leave the bathroom picture off. Wait till people view to spring it on them otherwise it'd put me off viewing. I be assuming that a house like yours didn't need work, so better to get me there and falling for it before I realise it needs a new bathroom.

I also dislike OIEO. I see it's a popular tactic around there, but still, it bugs me. As there are compromises a buyer has to make in choosing your house, I think you should put it on at a price they can negotiate on.
