Basement kitchen - drainage options

Looking for some alternatives please as I'm sure we're not the first people to encounter this problem! We're having a basement kitchen & utility built & fitted. When the architect drew up the plans, he thought/we thought that the outside drains are lower than they in fact are. The builder has now exposed them and they're slightly higher than the basement slab floor is going to be. The builders have dug lots of channels to follow the drains outside but can't see where they dive. Water company/local authority hasn't got any plans of the private drainage near the house so that's not an option to find out more. So we probably won't be able to attach basement wc/utility & kitchen directly to the mains drainage fed by gravity. I think that our only remaining options is macerators / saniflo pumps. The plumber suggests we have two: one for the wc and one for the sinks/washing machine/dishwasher. Aaaaargh. Hate them. Am tearing my hair out.
Does anyone know if there are any other options available to us? And does anyone have these for their basement / lower ground floor kitchen & utilities and can reassure me that they'll be OK? I feel like we're going to ruin the whole lovely project with these.

Bump.

PigletJohn, any advice if you're around?

I've also found these underground 'lifting stations' made by Zoeller and others. Anyone had experience of them?

I know it's a very boring subject but any advice very gratefully received! Thanks all

Don't have a WC if it would need a saniflow.

If the outside drain is a bit above the ground slab, can the sink be high enough for natural flow?

Dishwasher and washing machines have their own pumps so can go to a stand pipe.

We have a lower ground floor/basement kitchen.

All of the kitchen drains normally. As does the washing machine (in laundry room just off of the kitchen)

We have a loo which -is really really noisy- has a macerator. It is out of order at the moment. First time in 5 years.

I HATE our basement kitchen. I would love to move it back upstairs. Sad

We have had a saniflo loo (in ensuite) for over 6 years. It works fine, has had one service during that time. You just have to very strict in not allowing anything except wee, poo and cheap loo roll in there! Has to be cheap loo roll as it mushes up better than charmin or whatever it is called (obviously, we don't buy it!)

Thanks everyone for your advice. Good point piglet john about dw and wm having their own pumps - hadn't thought of that. We might just make it to the outside drank with the sink...
