What colour are your kitchen walls?

I want to paint my kitchen, its quite small and at the moment it is pink , would like to go for something light and calm but not sure what colour.

What colours are your kitchen walls?

Wedgewood blue - it's pretty small but has a lot of pale coloured units so having a strong colour worked for us.

Dulux natural Hessian. Love it. Neutral and light but a nice colour. Will be using it in another room when we move too.

Would definitely say light and calm covers it.

I've been painting my kitchen today with the Dulux light and clear range with those lumitec particles in - brilliant white (already have the moon shimmer - cream, and the cotton which is blue in another room).

The kitchen has become inside as I've added a conservatory to it so wanted it to be as bright as possible - it's great and was an unknown pale blue before.

Really brightened it up.

I have a lovely sagey green. Light and calm.
Don't remeber the name though.

We have Farrow and Ball "Pointing". I like "Cornforth White" too. It didn't go so well with our cupboards but could look wonderful with white units.

Sunshine yellow. Our kitchen is south facing and the colour looks just right.

A sort of pale duck egg colour. I am rather fond of it.

Sort of purple, just finished painting today! It is dulux and mocha something but does look purple then lightens as it tries. Like natural hessian too, we did some woodwork with that, very nice.

White! But I have lime green tiles above the worktops and this wallpaper on one wall.

White paint is cheap and cheerful and easy to re-do, ime, but I do like to have spash of colour.

Thank you, I think I will end up going with duck egg blue or wedgewood blue, we had sage green for a while but wasn't keen. I have a bright pink kitchen aid (the only nice thing in my kitchen) so I need something that wont clash with the pink so I think either blue or a very light grey?

We have light colour units and the kitchen is quite small with not much light so I think I need to go for a light colour. I also use my kitchen to run my cake business so I need a colour which makes the kitchen look nice a clean .

Would love to use wall paper but worried it will get dirty easily (what with dd2 rubbing her hands on everything and me splashing food everywhere).

In that case I'd choose a light grey.
Light blue and pink might seem a bit... baby-ish?
Grey looks clean and if you take pics of food and kitchen that might work very nice.

I've got two kitchens.

The first is large but north facing. It's currently pale lemon and frankly, I'm going to change iT. The lack of light makes the bright colour seem somehow sad. I dunno why!

The second is smaller but south facing. It's white and silver and is lovely!

I have wallpaper.

Everyone but me hates it.

So either I have terrible taste or they do. I think it's them.

This is what I have. I love it. My kitchen is small and can be dark as it's inside like Laurie's, but it's lovely and bright and cheerful now.

Oh and that link doesn't really show the colours well. The pink birds are really really pink!

Dulux Natural Calico, loads of people on here recommended it and I love it. I'm addicted to colour and pattern and it just seems to calm everything down.

Our kitchen diner is Crown bamboo leaf and I love it. Not too dark or too cold a green, but stops it being bland with cream units

Sherbet orange

White. The colour is in the decorative touches and furniture

Dulux heritage sage. Lovely.

Dulux urban obsession - darkish grey. Love it. So does everyone who sees it (well, they say they do . Have bright red range in the middle to lift it!

Dulux soft vanilla. Otherwise known as pale yellow. Faces north and long and narrow. Needed something light, but warmish.
