How to arrange our new ground floor

We're in the process of buying a new house. At the moment it has a crappy conservatory at the back, knocked through to the kitchen, which is in a single story extension at the back, knocked through to the 'breakfast room' which would have originally been the scullery, I guess.

The 2 receps have been knocked through. The original bay window (with door) still separates the back recep from the sunroom.

This plan is not to scale, but hopefully helps visualise the layout (the front of the house is at the top).

We want:

  1. A new kitchen
  2. A dining area
  3. A living room separate from the kitchen/dining area
  4. A downstairs loo
  5. Ideally a utility

My current idea is to:
replace the wall between the receps
put a loo and utility in the 'breakfast room'
leave the kitchen where it is
replace the conservatory with a proper extension, ideally with lots of glass
take out the bay separating the rear recep from the new extension.

Any thoughts on how we could use the space better? I am planning to use an architect, but I thought you lot might help me get some ideas together first...

Thanks!

unless you are planning on using a macerator attachment to your new loo - it's easier to place it under an existing bathroom to link up the plumbing - could you add the upstairs plan too ?! and is the existing kitchen on the left ? by chimney ?! it's a bit difficult to grasp ?! ( I'm only on my first coffee of the day !) or is it in the bit with the old bay in it ?! thanks !

I completely forgot I'd started this thread! Sorry OnePlan!

Here's updated plans (downstairs and upstairs). The existing kitchen is bottom left, with a conservatory built onto it (with the old bay protruding into in).

The soil stack comes down the side of the bay (through the conservatory - beautiful it is not).

The 'breakfast room' is the bit between the kitchen and the hallway. It's quite narrow and made more so by the chimney breast (the chimney has been removed).
