Whose fence is whose?

Two fence panels have blown down in our garden between us and a neighbouring house, the neighbouring house is a rental and between tenants so there's no one living there.
On the deeds it denotes responsibility by a "T" but only on the side of our house that's on the road side all the other boundaries have no markings. On the info we got from the seller it says that we are responsible for the left side and back but the right side is shared, but the seller was wrong about a few other things (thought she owned two car parking spaces when it was only one) just wondering how I find out? It's the one on the right that the seller says is shared. Is there any way of finding out before I try and find some way of contacting the landlord?

it cost £3 to look at title deeds online now

Is a fence thread as exciting as a parking thread?

My neighbour says left fence as I look into my garden is hers. I was going to replace one of the panels but obviously now I can't. She said "look on your deeds love" in THAT tone of voice .... so my deeds just have a red line all round my property no "T" which indicates the boundary is mine.

So how can I be sure?

What do hers state? You'll get more responses if you start a new thread than resurrect a three year old one.

If there are no T marks on either plan then the boundary is shared. The fence is owned by whoever paid for it. If neither of you have proof either way then that is shared too.

There won't necessarily be markings on the title plan OP - you need to read the title register and possibly any associated documents, such 'a conveyanceof x date'. The title register for our old house started the fences between properties were party walls and the responsibility was shared.
