Wooden window frames with mould - treatment

We have a wooden framed window in the attic that has developed furry mould and black mould on it. We need to replace it long term but medium term I want to treat it.

I have wiped all the mould off with bleach water and left to air dry.

Now, I am thinking to put the dehumidifier under it to make sure it is properly dry, paint it with mould resistant primer, and paint over with kitchen and bathroom paint - to prevent the mould coming back.

Or, is there another treatment I could use? Would that work?

We had all wooden window frames until recently and I just had to keep wiping the black mould off with bleachy water. Even with UPVC, we get a small amount of mould. I just think its a result of condensation.

There are mould spores everywhere. If they are growing, it is caused by damp, most likely condensation, though on a window there might be rain penetration. It is the moisture you have to solve.

Water vapour is lighter than air so it rises through the house. Ventilation will allow it to escape.

How do you take the steam away from your bathroom?

Is wet washing draped around?
