Farrow & Ball/Little Greene - Grey Suggestion

Hi

We are about to order our Kitchen and we are wanting to choose a grey colour to paint the cabinets. Any farrow and ball or little greene experts out there. I want a light grey. Not a blue or a green grey.

The grey in the grey neptune kitchen link attached is the look I am seeking.

Any help appreciated.

Is that the grey on the walls or on the island?

We used Purbeck stone which looks quite a lot like the grey of the painted units

I love the colour and am now planning to use it everywhere in the bathroom and hall!

I like F&B Pavillion Grey & F&B Cornforth White - both are grey but can show, green, grey, blue depending on light. Probably best to grab some testers. If you ring Neptune - can they tell you the colour? There website holds paints too by the looks.

Hi,

I have FB Cornforth White on kitchen cupboards. It is very grey but does take on differing hues in certain light, day/night etc. Interestingly we painted the walls LG French Grey hoping for a slightly darker grey than the cupboards. The walls were painted before the kitchen was installed and it is now quite clear the 2 colours are virtually the same! The kitchen is to remain as is as one end of the room is nearly 10m high and we do not fancy painting it again!

Not F&B or Little Greene but can I recommend a look at Sanderson and Paint and Paper Library. For example Birch White and Grey Birch Light by Sanderson are lovely pale greys (not bluey or greeny). Our kitchen is painted Slate II by Paint and Paper Library (though this is more of an off white/bone colour than a grey)

F&B Cornforth White is lovely, little Greene French grey is very similar as Schloss said but you can get darker shade if needed as French grey is a family of 4 colours but they do get a bit tiny bit browner grey as they get darker.

I've used all the French greys and they always worked very well, just painted our large downstairs hall in Cornforth White and it is lovely, just what I wanted and looks great with white woodwork.

We had Slate 2 painted in the interiors shop I worked in and it was one of our best sellers, again it's in a family of 5, it does have a slight green tone and it's a not a real grey as it's quite beige grey, but a great family of colours.

Thank you everyone for you suggestions. Everlong that sounds exactly like we are having. Haven't thought as far ahead as wall coverings yet, but I will keep that in mind!

i've just found F & B dimpse and need to get a sample to check on a bigger scale but looks just the job for the look i want - worth a look?

Our hall is French Grey pale (you can also get mid and dark) by Little Greene and it's lovely. We have just painted our cloakroom in Farrow and Ball Purbeck Stone and it's also lovely- a rich truffle type grey.
