Recently received delivery of all our possessions from put of storage, from a very reputable delivery company. When the containers were opened the contents were wet, many many items ruined. They took us to the warehouse where they laid it all out and we chose which things we felt could be salvaged. The manager was really trying to play down the situation, picking up our stuff and saying "this could be alright if you dry it out" etc. No apology or sympathy.
I am pretty upset that, this close to Christmas, we have no sofas, beds tvs. And my goodness I mean to come out if this well, meaning compensated. Any idea how we should approach this; the best way to get them to act quickly? Am so upset, lost a lot of irreplaceable sentimental items :(
