Have checked everything is definatly tight and no leaks, I realise there has to be a bit of extra water to fill the gap, I did let wuite a lot of air out of the attic radiator. It was sunday I bled it how long could it take to fill it up or should I be starting to worry? We have topped it up daily since then.

It should fill straight away, either from you opening the filling loop or through the ball valve

If you are putting water in and losing pressure have you checked pressure relief pipework.
Its possible for a blockage to occur in pipe to expansion vessel. So you fill system and the water is dumped because no expansion can take place.

Fill system, find pressure relief pipe, turn system on and wait, if water appears a pr pipe thats the issue.

You say no leaks but sorry, you just haven't found the leak yet.

As you have just repressurised it, start by looking outside the house at the pipe that comes through the wall behind the boiler. Or the leak might be in a pipe under the floor.
