Boiler pressure at 0

Just wondering if anyone knows how to increase the pressure on my boiler.
It's a Vaillant turbo max pro 28E. We've had a quick google and dh has tried turning the two screws underneath but no water seems to be flowing in.
The boiler is working and we have heating and hot water, just don't want
to damage boiler by running it with no pressure.

Also - not sure if this is related, but when we turn the hot tap on in the kitchen at low speeds, there is a really loud banging noise in the boiler. The tap has to be on hot or not at all. The cold tap is fine.

Any advice would be gratefully received!

there are usually a few taps on the underside of the boiler, try opening any of these and see if you can hear anything, wait for the pressure to rise and turn off, If there is a "loop" thingy then open both taps that are nearest. Good luck.

Have you bled the rads?

Have you bled the rads?
Email Vaillant.

Thanks for the replies. We have turned and opened the taps and there is a noise, but it doesn't sound like water coming through and there is no rise in the pressure.
Not bled radiators so that is the next task!
Good idea about emailing Vaillant.
We are due a service, so I think I'll just get the boiler engineer to have a look if we can get him round in the next couple of days.

Thanks for the tips!

I have the Sam problem, banging noise in the boiler,The blumber came, flushed the whole system then the noise gone. Within a week, the noise started again, particularly when the heating water starts to turn on.I notice also there is noise when I turn the water on in the kitchen. Do you think it is the pressure related. Each time I call the plumber, it costs.he has been my plumber for more than a decades, so I am sure he is not a cowboy plumber! Any one has the same problem as mine, please advise.

Call a local plumber out. But usually if you open the filling loops they should top up your system. On my boiler I have 3 taps to open up so all systems differ.
