Tiles or laminate over underfloor heating?

I understand there are different types of UFH and the one used under laminate is not at powerful as the type used under tiles. Does that mean it's cheaper to run as well?
We're not sure whether to go for tiles or laminate and was wondering if they'd both work just as well with UFH
Very TIA

We've got Amtico which is a type of laminate tile over ours in the bathroom and its very cosy underfoot

Ceramic tiles are good conductors and emitters of heat. Other materials are not.
My neighbour has marble tiles over her underfloor heating.

DD has normal thick floor tiles. Both conduct and emit the heat, artificial materials and wood are poor heat conductors and emitters.
