Leaking upvc conservatory - fix ourselves?

The conservatory in the house we've moved into leaks! We think it's the sealant. When we first moved I did a massive cleaning job on all the seals as they were mouldy and manky with dettol mould n mildew and it looks a hell of a lot better BUT we found some leaks after the recent heavy rain.

I'm wondering if me and dh can do the work ourselves to fix the leaking or should we gets conservatory repair specialist in? I've asked around and read upon it and we can get a sealant removing solution from screwfix and take all the old sealant off and replace it with new sealant.

We are a bit broke and don't want to spend too much on this yet as we have spent loads on carpets, flooring, electrics, new heating and new kitchen.

Has anyone any experience of this kind of thing?

It should generally not be relying on silicone sealant to fill gaps because the system had plastic profiles to click over all joints and upstands where it meets the house wall.

Where do you think the water is getting in?

What is the flashing made of? Is it stuck to the bricks or cut into the mortar?

Is it where the conservatory meets the house or from the joins in the roof?

We had an entire ceiling pane slide down into the gutter of ours, we actually got a specialist conservatory company out who made sure all the other panes were anchored in correctly, we were missing those end caps from the pvc "spines" of the roof.

It wasn't a great deal of money and it meant they could check the rest of the roof out for any other issues.

Dh and I are very competent DIYers (I remove bathroom sealant and reseal) but I wouldn't do the conservatory, especially the exterior. The conservatory company had a specialist ladder in an L shape to climb up and onto the roof.

Well, the next instalment: we got a handy man in to clean and re do all the seals on the inside of the conservatory and it looks much better and we've covered up the cracked ceramic tiles with a layer of levelling compound and have had cushion floor put down and it looks much warmer and cosier BUT there are 2 leaks, maybe more, both in the corners near the roof furthest away from the wall of the house. We have found puddles of water - it's p*ing it down down here - in the corners and if you run your finger alongside the uprights in the corners they are wet. It's like a slow seepage of water coming in. Any ideas on what and how we fix it? By the way, the handyman couldn't find where the leaks might be - whether he looked hard enough or whether he didn't fancy doing the job..
Can we be bob and bobette the builder and do it ourselves with the help of mr and mrs screwfix?
