Garage conversion

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how much a/ their garage conversion cost? We are looking to convert our garage to part dining room (as it's next to the kitchen so would create a kitchen diner) and use the end bit as a study ( there's a natural break in it where it departs the house so we would want an arch as a bit of a divide.
In short we need bricking where the garage door was and a window, knocking through to the house, all relavent insulating and everything, knocking through to the kitchen, one radiator moving and one installing then plastering and all but we would decorate and lay laminate ourselves. Anyone had something like this done or know a rough cost? Had two builders round but they are taking an age with a quote!

I had a double garage done, but it isn't double the cost. I had the doors removed, windows fitted (if you don't want it to look like a garage conversion then consider matching the new window in with your current ones size wise rather than just bricking up the bottom half and having a window above)

I had 2 radiators, door knock through into the hall, wall built across the entire width of the garages to create a store room, laminate flooring for entire room plus our hall and dining room done too. Skirting, 2 doors, one of which was a fire door, 2 windows, new loft hatch, came to £11.5k. For one garage I was quoted £8k ball park figure.

£6k for our single garage conversion earlier this year. That was for bricking up front, adding front window, plastering/insulation dnd knocking through with new radiator in garage and hall. Also built cupboard to hide boiler. Best thing we ever did.

Thank you! Hoping we can do it soon! Waiting on 2 quotes from local builders, but Anglican home improvements wanted 14,000!!!!
