Hello everyone. Our house renovations are continuing and we're getting to the flooring decisions bit. A local carpet shop owner came out last week to quote for our hall/lounge carpet and we were pretty scared at the price!!
He recommended the 'Elegance Twist' carpet as a hard-wearing quality flooring (£22.99m) with 'Cloud' underlay (£5.99m) . The total was over £1600 which is really more than we can comfortably afford.
Can anyone else recommend a really tough, longlasting carpet - suitable for pets/children?
The kitchen quote was for £490 for Karndean (would be slightly less for Camaro). We know this is a very hardwearing option and probably better than conventional vinyl .................... Would you agree?
TIA
