I bought a bookcase and want to paint it , this stuff you apparently don't need to use a primer.
I used it to pain my fireplace which worked out well .

Anyone used it?

Annie Sloan paint. I painted my outside upvc Window frames with this last summer and it has weathered well here in the north. Even if I have to give it a top up next year it goes on so easy it wouldn't take long. I put a gloss matching colour on the door and it all looks lovely. I'm posting this as I searched the Internet before painting and couldn't get an answer on if it would work or not. When it rains the paint being chalk looks slightly patchy but it dries out as soon as the rain stops.
