Neighbours attaching things to my wall

Hi,
We have a detached garage at the end of our garden.
Two of its walls cut into our neighbours garden forming part if the boundary to their land.
They have just screwed trellis to the walls of the garage without notifying us.
Are they allowed to do this??

I wouldn't be able to get worked up over this. You pick your battles and I think a bit of trellis to keep the peace is worth it. Your on thin ice after sending the note.... As there's a lot worse things a previously nice neighbour could do....

Absolutely this.

Hi all. Hope I'm in the right place for this post. Recently a person unknown to me has placed a book exchange tray outside my garden wall on the footpath. Is this legal? I'm in Ireland. I've taken it into my shed. I will give it back if they want it. Any info appreciated.. also I'm afraid the neighbors might think I put it there. It's especially sensitive during the covid crisis...

Hi. Don't understand your answer..

ProseccoSupernova · 24/05/2020 15:09

I would imagine they have put it there BECAUSE of the Covid crisis... many people are doing the same near us. It’s a nice way of giving away unwanted items. I don’t see why you would have an issue with it I’d it’s not on your property?

Thanks. I thought there would be a danger of transmission of virus through the books..
